Witches Dinner Party Menu
Grab your brooms witches, it’s a ladies night! Halloween is the perfect holiday to get all of your girlfriends together! Featured on tonights menu is an assortment of classy and elegant meets black magic. The food is wicked good and the decor is ultra spooky! For my table scape I wanted a black magic theme. The base of the design is a black table cloth with black shimmering mini trees. Then I added creepy moss and woodland berries used in spells for a natural element. The dim lighting from the fairy lights and candles give off a whimsical ambiance. The centerpiece is a black cauldren with spooky green fog bellowing from its magic potion. The witchy mood has been set, now lets talk dinner!
Fungi, and squid ink, and goats, OH MY! This witchcraft menu has all kinds of odd ingredients to concoct the perfect black magic menu! I wanted every menu item to have the option to be served at room temperature (or close to) so that I had time to have everything available on the table as guests arrived. The first course is called “Toad Brains & Human Toes”. The “Toad Brains” are stuffed mushrooms, and the “Human Toes” are bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese. The main course is “Black Magic Pasta” consisting of squid ink noodles tossed in a garlic oil and chili sauce. My “Wicked Good Cheese Bread” is a nice addition with a all the garlicky cheesyness that is necessary in a good cheese bread. I might have saved the best for last, “DARKNESS BROWNIES”! These dark chocolate brownies will knock you off your broom! To wash it all down I have selected multiple “Sacraficial Vinos” that will pair nicely with the menu. These flavors will make your tastebuds say ABRACADABRA!
